When you raise funds or give to the LifeShare Foundation, you are helping make life happen for others through creating awareness about donation, supporting donor families, recipients and those waiting while also advancing research in the donation and transplant field.
Mike was an organ donor. He always knew he would one day donate any part of his body that was necessary to save the life of others. In celebration of Mike’s life, I am asking for your support in raising funds to support everyday people who are in line for a life saving organ/skin/bone/ transplant.
Mike was a combat veteran. He served three tours in Iraq with the United States Marine Corps as a Low Altitude Air Defense (3rd LAAD) Marine! He loved his country, he loved his fellow man, he loved his family and loved all his dogs. After his honorable discharge from the Marine Corps, Mike served 12 years as a police officer in California. Mike had a love for serving his community and it was evident with every interaction he had with the community. He treated every person as an equal member of society. Mike was the kind of person who would take time to parade his K9 partner to kids at school events, during calls that involved children and at special community events.
Tragically Mike’s life ended too soon but not without his contribution to his community through organ donation. I ask that you consider supporting my cause in raising funds for this amazing organization that provides people with second chances as life.
