Little Red Heart 5K

Hello Family & Friends,

I have gathered some friends together & we will be participating in the Little Red Heart 5K virtual walk to honor my sweet grand niece Olivia Kay who passed away suddenly in Aug. 2023 and changed my understanding & thinking of what being an organ donor means, and how it affects so many people in so many different ways. It truly isn't just a 'pink dot' on our license! While I didn't literally think this, until the loss & process of this happened so close to home, I didn't fully understand the impact of being a donor! Four wonderful people are still here on earth because of this & other selfless donations. I know this brings my niece & her family an inordinate amount of joy & peace, knowing their daughter lives on in this manner.  So we will of course be walking in honor of Olivia Kay's memory, but more importantly we'll walk for the future of people who will benefit from organ donors, the donor families, and all the people who work @ these Foundations that make life happen!!  Consider joining us in making a donation to facilitate research, and support for both donating & recipient families.
